17 EUROPEAN SOFAS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT!

With so many great furniture manufacturers out there it was very difficult to keep the list to 17! Therefore, I make it a point to visit the Maison et object show in Paris every year. An event that focuses on new designs and more and more up and coming furniture designers to make your little design heart sing! Including big names like Ligne Roset and Roche Bobois, with their creative furniture designs we have come to know and love.

In addition to these rock stars, today I’ll be sharing some of European’s leading and innovated furniture companies. So, whether you are an interior designer or a home owner looking for more options, let me start by saying...you’re welcome!

The “Bob” sofa; which was introduced in 2017, is a furniture style that many designers and architects are gravitating towards today. I mean, one look and it will have you swooning over it as well. The module system can be made from small to large and can be even be seen without a back seating. In other words, “Bob offers the architonic freedom to either challenge or adhere to all types of spaces.”

17. VITRA – MARIPOSA

An older model compared to these newly designed sofas I have listed, however it is still is a classic choice when choosing a sofa. Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish and I can see why the name was given. It’s wing-like arm rest, which adjustment mechanism along with the backrest allows this sofa to make you feel as if you just landed on to the horizon.
